The Atari site is owned by Atari Australia Pty Limited, an Australian subsidiary of Infogrames Entertainment SA. The site is managed and maintained internally.

Atari is one of Australia&'s largest distributors of entertainment software. We distribute products from a wide range of publishers on a variety of platforms.

Atari only collects personal information from you on a voluntary basis. We will only collect personally identifiable information to the extent deemed reasonably necessary to serve our legitimate business purposes.

Atari are only able to respond to e-mail correspondence regarding Privacy issues if such correspondence includes a return e-mail address. Because an e-mail address is personal identifying information, Atari protects the privacy of the sender by limiting access to these e-mail messages and keeping them in a secure e-mail system.

Message Boards / Forums

This site makes, or may make, available to you chat rooms, forums, message boards, and/or news groups.

Opting-Out and Removal from Atari email list

If you do not want Atari to send you e-mail or regular mail about our products and services, you can opt-out at the time of registration.

If you have opted-in and at a later date you choose to have your e-mail and personal details removed from our user database, you can do so by either following the Unsubscribe link in the footer of each e-mail sent to you, or by sending an e-mail to webmaster.australia@atari.com with the word "REMOVE" in the subject line. A user can also modify their subscription details by logging into the site and clicking the "Update Your Profile" link in the My Atari panel of the site header.

Children's privacy

Atari recognise the importance and need to protect personal information obtained from young children. In order for children 13 years and under to become a member of the Atari forums to participate in online activities, we require prior written permission from a parent or guardian. We require that a parent or guardian fax or mail back a signed permission form to us before we grant membership to the Atari forum.
